Current Research Studies At Allergy Associates of Utah

Did you know the Allergy Associates of Utah has a Research Department? We are currently enrolling patients in the following studies:

Burning, itching, and hives limit your life?

Help us test a new treatment option.

This study is seeking participants with Chronic Inducible Urticaria (CIndU) to test the effectiveness and safety of a new investigational drug, CDX0159.

—Now Enrolling Participants—

Your participation in this study will help to:

  • Determine how effective and safe CDX0159 is for patients with either subtype of Chronic Inducible Urticaria (CIndU): Cold urticaria (ColdU) and symptomatic dermographism (SD).
  • Provide data if the investigational product will help to reduce itching, hives, angioedema, burning sensations, and pain related to CIndU.

You may not have to live with the symptoms of these chronic hives. Help us learn more.

Can we protect people from peanuts?

If you’re allergic to peanuts, you’ll know how difficult avoiding them can be. Our clinical trial is testing an oral investigational drug that could help protect people from peanuts.

We’re looking for people to take part in this 3-month clinical trial who, amongst other criteria, are:

  • Between 18 and 55 years old
  • Diagnosed with a peanut allergy

To find out if you could join, please speak with your doctor, contact the study team or visit novartis.com/us-en/peanutallergytrial

We have future studies for chronic spontaneous urticaria, asthma, mast cell, and more. If you are interested in hearing more about study opportunities, or potentially participating in a study, please contact the Research Department at 801-263-8700.
